How it works
20 dermoscopic images will be randomly selected and displayed. After an image appears, you have 5 seconds to decide whether the lesion is benign or malignant by clicking on the corresponding button.
Give the right answer as quick as possible! The faster you answer, the more experience points (XP points) you earn and the higher your chance of winning. With every second that passes, you earn fewer points.
* The Bonus Challenge may only run at special events or promotions.
If you give the wrong answer, you will not receive any XP points.

About the FotoFinder AI Challenge
1st Level - Classic Challenge
In the first level, 20 dermoscopic images are displayed randomly. After an image appears, you have 5 seconds to click on “benign” or “malignant”. After clicking, you see your XP score compared to the FotoFinder AI. The faster you answer correctly, the more experience points (XP points) you receive and the higher your chance of a high place in the Global Ranking of all participants.
2nd Level - Bonus Challenge (available at special events)
If you have achieved a score of 100% for the first 20 cases, the game continues with the 2nd level. This bonus round runs as long as you give correct answers. Once your answer is wrong, the game stops and you can start the game again from the beginning, playing against doctors around the globe. Who can reach the highest score without giving a wrong answer?
Global Ranking
You can check the Global Ranking at any time, where you can see your classic and bonus level score compared to all players worldwide. The Ranking shows by how many correct answers you have exceeded the classic level (100% + x). If you play more than once, only your highest score is shown so that your level cannot drop. The player with the highest score wins.
Conditions of participation
Participants agree to receive their result compared to the AI and all players via E-Mail and authorize FotoFinder Systems GmbH to store their personal data, to forward it to the local organizer of the AI Challenge and to send information on news and FotoFinder Academy events. The Information provided will be treated confidentially in accordance with the privacy policy. Participants can withdraw their consent to the processing of their data by FotoFinder Systems GmbH in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR at any time and in writing by e-mail, fax or letter.
In case the AI Challenge is temporarily set up as competition with prizes, multiple or repeated participation is allowed, but you can only win once within the specified period. The Global Ranking decides who wins. If you are among the winning places more than once, with several game names, the next person(s) on the ranking list will automatically be included in the Group of winners. The winners will be notified by e-mail. There is no right to convert the prize into a cash payment. Legal action is excluded.
